Journey Back Home was Long.... Really

Never felt the journey back home via train then bus was long even though many people told me that I am living in a "mountain area" where the bird don't lay eggs and dog don't shit place - chinese proverbs.

Yesterday I finally felt it. Was feeling feverish on my way home from Toa Payaoh CC after a baking class ( took half day leave for that and thought it was quite worth it since I realized the mistakes I made on my buns)

Truly, Really, Honestly, my home is was really darn far away.
But Thank GOD, I made it back, shivering yet body flushing hot, back to my little room.

Feeling emotionally drained and thankful that all has ended.

Into my fat body, I had the cough mixture, fever medicine, flu medicine, vitamin C 1000mg and lozenges that cost me 11 bucks for 2 slab of rapid action, sugar free herbal lozenges that tasted like really really HERBAL.

Today is public holiday so I am staying at home to sleep in !

Of course, and pen my thoughts in my blog which was not really forsaken.

Telling myself to post more here.
Have the heart but No strength.

Stay healthy, my friends.

Enclosed the final product of what I attended yesterday, very yummy wo!

The Post that was Supposed to Be posted after 8 days...

OK, I was supposed to post something after 8 Days from my last post....
However, after talking to my "Panda" , I decided not to post till now...
So what's happened after 8 Days?

I finally bought myself an iPad!
Yes, I know. One would think " Hey, what's the big deal?!"
But if you personally knows me, you would know that I have been procrastinating for the past 4 years in getting the iPad, simply because it is a piece of very expensive IT equipment and to today's pricing, more expensive that some branded Ultra slim laptop.

Anyway , I bought it ! Finally ! Haha and guess what? My first thing I did was to load Farmville 2 on iPad 😜

After the initial load of craziness on games, I start to load my others stuff like Blog Spot, Facebook, Pinterest, Holy Bible texans realized that surfing and blogging is now in " another dimension", everything is bigger. Much bigger.

No regrets really though I am going to feel the actual pain when my credit card bill comes.

Till then...Ta Ta

Thoughts... Not actions

My brain is willing but My Heart and Soul are weak....

Wanted to do some cooking / baking but super super lazy.

Sigh. Slept whole day.

Thank God my schedule to start baking twice a month is not this week.

Just thinking about it ....

SIM to Nano SIM?

Cutting SIM cards are really really difficult task. It's not the actual work but it's in the mindset - Takes a huge amount of courage to do so.

See the golden bits still stuck to the frame? That's my first unsuccessful attempt.
I did it! Heehee .
Using a dual sim puncher which I borrowed from my friend - Thank You!
I did my first punched on an unwanted One2Free micro SIM card to nano SIM which was a mistake! I was devastated but yet happy that I didn't do the actual SIM else "die" lah.

After analyzing the SIM card made me realized that Europe SIM card are slightly in a different position then the Asian ones. So with much courage again, I cut my Digi Card and Voila! It worked!
Tested on my phone and I still get a signal ( I paid for one year for the line to be on so it havnt expire yet heehee)

Then I proceed with the actual thing and after SIM - Micro SIM , I had to file the edges because it was a little skewed edges then I proceed to cut to nano SIM and it was really a lot of hard work - because I was really really scared. I dig and poke and align. And after many many tries, I was pretty sure , I did the punch.

Yeah!! THANK GOD! I did it! All is ok...
How to check? See the remains to find any gold stuff still stick on the remains frame? I checked - nope.

Final Test - testing on my phone and after waiting a couple minutes - yup! It's working.

This is the SIM card puncher.  You can purchase in Taobao or EBay.

Ok, I now can proceed buying my tablet!
